Conversational English Classes
Informal classes arranged during weekdays for internationals to learn and practice conversational English and adapt to American culture.  Native English-speaking volunteers will facilitate conversations on topics related to everyday life and English usage.

Evening Conversation Class
Evening English Conversation Class will begin on September at the Evangelical Community Church. The event will take place on Thursdays. Transportation provided. Contact Randy Hawes at rahawes@indiana.edu for more information.

Day time Conversation Class
Day time English Conversation Class for international women will begin on September at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. The event will take place from 9:30 to 11:00am  each Tuesday morning. Transportation and childcare provided. Contact Rani Rajamani at rani@rajamani.org for more information.
 

Social Events/Sightseeing Trips
Regular local and out-of-town activities that will allow internationals to develop friendships and enjoy American culture and attractions.  Past events have included picnics, apple-picking, sporting events, day trips, holiday parties, snow skiing, movie nights, and sightseeing trips to Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Florida.

Friendship Partners
Internationals will be matched with American families and individuals so that mutually enjoyable friendships can develop.  Students may be invited by their American friends to visit their homes, attend family functions, and observe holidays over the course of the year. Bible Study
For Christians
Weekly Bible Studies for Christian international students, scholars and families takes place on various weekday evenings. This is an opportunity to study the Bible with other internationals and American friends in a culturally relevant manner. Bible Discussions
For all internationals (Group and Individual)
Weekend and weekday group and individual Bible discussions for international students, scholars and families from all backgrounds take place throughout the week. Events for Undergraduates

SPEAK
SPEAK is our informal gathering on Wednesday nights.  It is a great chance to meet international and American undergraduate students.  We provide a social atmosphere, a chance to learn about life in the US, and opportunities to explore who God is through discussions on spiritual topics and the Bible.  Wednesdays 7:00 in a student’s home near campus.  Contact Dan Tietz at dantietz@indiana.edu for more information and rides.

 
Small Group Bible Study for Christians
This small group Bible study is for Christian undergraduate international students.  We provide Christian community and a chance to grow in your faith in Jesus.  Friday afternoons 4:00 Room 776 in the IMU. Contact Dan Tietz at dantietz@indiana.edu for more information and rides.
